Do you remember scene in Ratatouille - When Anton Ego had Remy's ratatouille? Flashed back all his memories? When his mama made him the same dish? Have you ever had that? I have, last nite...
My Ratatouille-Ego's moment was my mum's sardine-in-tomato-sos with chilli and telur dadar. It definitely reminded me of our hard but very-happy-time when we were little.I made the same dishes last night for me and hubby + yusuff (but yusuff wasnt himself these few days - fever and flu and now he has rock star voice - very the serak2 basah gitu). I had my 2nd round moment too - my sardine-guilty pleasure!
Who cares!
To people who thinks we are not busy - just a reminder! we are busy at the moment - with everything! Im mentally drained out by 9pm every night. Busy eating too!
I am marathon-ing Medium season 5 (ive mentioned it somewhere before) and last nite was a good episode. She was talking about time.. the mystery of time - well, time is no mystery, time is straight forward, no deals no hocus pocus...
Quote "Time is so priceless and yet it doesnt cost us anything. You can do whatever with it, but you will never own it - once it passed - you'll never catch it again"
We are so desperate to go back to the future, to do things differently - For what? Why dont we just embrace what we have.
Would I changed anything from my past? hhhmmm......If the outcome same as what I have today (superb husband, naughty Yusuff and happy me) - maybe. If not. No,Thank you.
Mr.A has a 24-years old, (tall, dark-skin and has the sweetest smile ever) brother, Mr. B. Apart from my husband whom impressed me (on first date that was) with politeness and good manners, this guy Mr.A's brother, Mr.B, suprised me so much. For a young boy and living in this society its kinda hard to find for a good (looking) decent gentleman.
We were in a conversation - laughing away, eating Laduree's macaroons and slurrping starbuck's mineral water - suddenly, he just stopped talking and whoossshhed, ran off - to open Starbuck's double-door for an elder lady who had her hands full with her bag and coffee on the other hand. I said - WOW! and my heart just melted. This young boy (who by-the-way called me kakak mimi) - with the sweetest smile, laughing to his own jokes, happy with just slurrping mineral water actually has a decent heart. A decent heart (i had to repeat that).Their parents taught them well.
I know. Unemployed and we still busy like hell, and thats not a lie. We have been busy with everything. I'd guess if we both working, we wouldnt be this busy huh? Anyhoo..
Last week we, girls (minus Fay) went to watch My Sister's Keeper.
SPOILER ALERT if you havent or want to watch it.
My favourite scene of the movie.
Boy oh boy. Marisa, Adita, Amy and me were playing passing-parcel-tissue-box from the start till the end. You've been warned! (bring along towel with you). We were sobbing like theres no tomorrow. Sad. Yes it was a dramaticly-sad movie. You can feel the sobbing vibe in the cinema as well - not just us!
And this young lady - Sofia Vassilieva -
has a huge talent. She was young and great actress in Medium Series (which im marathon-ing season 4 at the moment) and so amazing in The Sister's Keeper. I believe that, she will win an award someday. Maybe not this one, but definitely sameday. She deserves an award and Thomas Dekker is (HOT) our John Connor, was good looking for a cancer boy.
Other than that - we had a busy weekend with same friend's new home do and more drama, drama, drama - long story.
Till then - please pray for us. Please pray something good will turn up soon-er. Ameen.
Saturday we are going to pick our own favourite fruits - berries, cherries and some veggies. We would like for Yusuff to experience it again - last time he was just standing day licking his hand on strawberries (when he was at his peak loving strawberries - and,now trust me - his taste has changed).
If the weather permits, here we come berries.....imagining me having honey nuts cluster with my own-picked strawberries on top of it..slurrppsss!!! Marvellous.
And last night - we've decided. We are in this together. Eid will be the deadline. May Allah bless us in whatever path we've decided on. Ameen.
The tickets printed with the special lenticular process, were inspired and designed by Michael Jackson for the fans attending his shows. This is the actual "oversized" concert ticket, measuring 82mm x 186mm (3.23in x 7.32in) for the 50 This Is It shows at The O2. His hopes were his fans would want to keep the special ticket as a reminder of the memorable evening that they would share together.
The lenticular concert tickets feature one of eight unique designs printed via the lenticular printing process. Lenticular printing is a 3D process that can contain animation, multiple photos, morphing or a combination of these. The front of the ticket is the lenticular image and the reverse side is the standard ticket detail including the performer name, tour name, show date, venue, section number, row number, and seat number.
*Ticket images are not to scale and are a still image snapshot of the actual moving image represented on the concert ticket*
